Dive into the heart of Italian culinary tradition with Chef and Owner of Scratch Pasta, Stephanie Fees. This hands-on experience is designed to introduce both beginners and seasoned food enthusiasts to the art of making perfect pasta and raviolis from scratch. You'll start by learning the secrets to preparing the ideal dough and hand-made gourmet fillings. Then, you'll transform your dough into delicate sheets ready to be filled with your choice of fillings.
You’ll bring home as many raviolis as you can make in class to share your new-found culinary talents with friends and family. You’ll also take home a tub of marinara sauce, and recipes for the pasta dough and sauce. During class enjoy a ravioli snack prepared by Stephanie and a glass of wine (if older than 21) or a non-alcoholic soda or seltzer.

"Galette" sounds like a fancy word, but it's really just an easy-going free-form pie! Come learn how to craft Autumn galettes in this hands-on class that may later find their way to your Thanksgiving or Holiday celebration table. Our head baker Kayla, will teach you how to make the dough, roll it out, fill, and bake your galettes in class. Choose from seasonal fruits (like apples & pears) or savory combos (like butternut squash, cheese, & herbs.) Can’t decide sweet or savory? Make one of each!
Participants will craft this classic pastry from start to finish, take home dough made in class, their own 2 handmade galettes, and the recipe. Each participant will also receive a glass of wine or beer (if older than 21) or a fizzy water.

If perfectly cooking fish, scallops, or shrimp has been out of your reach or too intimidating to try, this is your class! We’ll take each one of these ingredients and show you a fail-proof technique for preparing it with ease! In class we’ll sear scallops and poach shrimp to make 2 quick composed appetizers, then make fish “en papillote” (paper pouch) and pick from a variety of flavor inclusions. We’ll enjoy the fish and a side for our main course!
Participants will have appetizers and a meal in class, receive recipes for all, and enjoy a glass of wine (if older than 21) or a non-alcoholic soda or seltzer.

You may not know the term “Swiss Roll”, but one look at a photo of this amazing dessert and you know exactly what it is! In this class you’ll learn how to make this swirled treat from baking the cake, to mixing the filling, then assembling the whole thing!

It’s that time! The holidays! We’re going to pull out our favorite party and family gathering appetizer recipes to share with you all! But these Holiday Hors D'oeuvres are not just elegant and delicious, they can be prepared ahead and travel well for a win-win whether you are the host or a guest.
We’ll make a variety of 6 -YES 6- recipes in class. Teams of 2 will work to create their recipe during class. Each recipe uses a different technique and will cover all the classics from dips, to skewers, to meatballs, to crostinis and more! At then end of class we’ll all talk about our creations and learnings and have a cocktail party (wine or N/A beverage included) to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Each participant will take home recipes from class. This class is ideal for ages 16+

Join us in The Flour District Teaching Kitchen for an evening of cookie making and baking! Participants will learn how to make 3 different cookies during class including a red velvet crinkle, a chewy molasses spice, and a festive M&M sugar cookie. Each group will learn the basics and a few tricks to expert cookie making with our head baker, Kayla. And since these cookies are meant to be shared, participants will all share their cookies made in class and take home a platter including all 3. We’ll also have a secret bonus cookie all will add to their platters!
Participants may enjoy a glass of hot chocolate, bubbly water, or wine (if over 21).

Bûche De Noël - or Christmas Yule Log cake - may be one of the most festive and iconic holiday cakes out there. This European delight is a Swiss roll style dessert that consists of a sponge cake rolled with a creamy filling on the inside, then decorated to look like a sweet little log nestled on a wintery forest floor.
