Strawberry Shortcake may seem like an unassuming and simple dessert, but with only a few components, each needs to be delicious or you end up with a dessert that’s more “ho hum” than “YUM!”. Join The Flour District’s head baker, Kayla, in preparing this sweet treat. Learn the techniques to tender cakes, a balanced strawberry filling, and the proper cream topping.
Participants will craft this classic pastry from start to finish, take home treats made in class, and the recipe. Each participant will also receive a glass of wine or beer (if older than 21) or a fizzy water.
This class is ideal for ages 14+
