Flour District now offers two beautifully curated event spaces in Downtown Lynchburg, each designed for intimate gatherings with plenty of charm. Whether you’re hosting a cozy baby shower, birthday celebration, private party, or community event, our spaces make it easy to find the right fit for your guest list, style, and occasion.

The Annex

The Annex is our newest intimate event space, designed for beautifully hosted gatherings of up to 20 guests during café hours. Our large glass doors create a more private experience while still allowing you to enjoy the warm buzz, artisanal charm, and café amenities that make Flour District so special.

  • Two-hour minimum required

  • Full payment is required to reserve your dates

The Atrium

The Atrium

The Atrium is our signature event space, offering beautifully designed private gatherings for up to 50 guests. With full after-hours access to Flour District’s charming café, it’s perfect for milestone celebrations, larger private parties, community events, and meaningful gatherings.

Accommodates 40–50 guests for larger gatherings with plenty of charm.

The Annex may be added for expanded event space based on guest count and event needs.

FAQs

  • The Annex offers privacy with closed glass doors during café hours, while The Atrium provides full private access after hours when the café is closed to the public.

  • The Flour District is ADA-accessible, with accessible parking, a ramp from the parking lot to the patio, and no stairs once inside. Our restrooms are also ADA accessible.

  • We have two large all-gender restrooms available for your guests during the event.

  • Staff is on site for the duration of your event and will tidy as needed throughout the event. We ask that clients please take any items brought for their event with them or dispose of them properly.

  • Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Wine and beer service may be available through Flour District for an additional fee.

  • Yes, but all decorations must be preapproved. We’ll help you understand what works well in the space and what’s not allowed so the venue stays beautiful for the next gathering, too.

  • Yes. Barista service and coffee drinks may be available for an additional fee. Please inquire for options and pricing.

  • Your rental includes access to the approved event space during your booking window. The bakery and teaching kitchen are not included unless specifically arranged in advance.

  • Yes. Flour District catering is available for events, and we recommend requesting catering at least two weeks in advance. Explore our catering menu for more information.

  • Outside food or outside catering must be preapproved and may require an additional fee.

  • Setup and cleanup time are included within your booking window. If you need additional time, please request it in advance; extra time may be available for an additional fee.
